I was down at the PTI Symposium and we had just heard Bill McGuire's bleak prognosis for our climate. This commemorates the work of Charles Close (who was also a GA President) who was in office as RGS President when the Society celebrated its centenary. We are preparing for the bicentenary of the RGS in 2030.
